Above is the message I get when I try to locate a town or city. "You can change this permission any time through the Settings charm" is the error message I get. When I go to the Settings charm, there is no way or where to activate the geolocation service

KML is a file format that Google made places with Google Earth, that allows you to tag locations on a map and share those locations with others. Now Bing Maps supports created KML files too, and when I send or receive files, I can open them thru this app -- thanks! :)

So far I have been impressed with my map pro . Has worked well and have use it some but as get more time with this app sure will benefit me more and more. Easy to use and has benefited me so far with work and just to locate things of interest. Excellent app for my needs.

gives wrong city, waste of time, free is too expensive for this junk

I downloaded several tracks I'd made while skiing, and had a nice large view of where I'd ski'd and how fast I was going. I got prompted to pay to remove ads when closing; I wish that option had been available at download (since I'll always go with that if available); that's the only reason why I'm not giving this 5 stars since that could have been better handled.

In general the maps appear to be quite accurate. The navigation is easy and very intuitive. Aerial view quality is the only weakness, but definitely not a show stopper.

I exported a KML file (flight track log) out of ForeFlight - Google Earth opens and displays it no problem, this app reports a parsing error and won't open the same file. I've uninstalled this app and will use Google Earth instead.
