Waste of time and money by Matt

The update is not really an update. The mobile (Android) version is spread out more than version 4 and does not look any better as a result. The fact that I now have to use a password instead of the passcode with version 4 is annoying. Having to run an app on the PC instead of a stand alone software like version 3.5.5 is annoying. I can find no way to attach a photo to the mobile app entries. What is up with that? At least the pictures I did have now show up in the Windows 10 app unlike version 3.5.5. This was definitely NOT an upgrade. I'm so frustrated that I paid additional money from the first app to get this downgrade. I don't understand how software developers think they are doing a great job "updating" their software when it stinks. It's as if they never use their own product. Not happy as a veteran customer. Not happy at all. I'll probably be sticking with the old version - at least until mSecure gets their act together.

New Version is Crap by Karl

At least the older versions worked...the new mSecure 5 doesn't sync properly so when you open a record, the information for a different record shows. Search and sorting is not intuitive and limited as well. I moved on to a different manager after I PAID FOR THIS! A mistake...

    Sucks by Derrick D.

Mesure 5 I can't get it sync like the old version. I like the old version better. I am going to keep using the old version and delete the new version. I will never buy it again. Don't even deserve 1 star.

    Rip off by scott

I think this program is a rip off. I paid for it once years ago. They upgrade the version and reduce the functionality and then expect you to pay for it again. There are better and less expensive options. I would stay away.

    Disappointing by Jay

After waiting weeks after the committed date for the launch, I just installed a Win10 app, not a stand-alone software as previously in mSecure3. The GUI is horrible with no control to adjust window sizes and it seems as though the graphics were designed for someone nearly blind (fonts and spacing are massive with no control to adjust). In v3 there were options to adjust font sizes and other basic controls - gone in v5. There are new icons with functions that are not labeled with no screen tip or popup description of the function of the icon. The mSecure team upgraded the security of the system which was great and my primary reason for purchasing the upgrade, but unfortunately they broke the sleek and effective "feel" of the software. My advice is to bring back or at least migrate back towards the old GUI and keep the upgraded encryption. Overall a very disappointing change and I would consider it a downgrade from v3.

Vendor killed the one feature I needed by Patrick

I've been using mSecure for a decade or more on Mac/iOS. What I want - what i need - is to do local sync to my iPhone. I do not want Cloud sync; if I wanted Cloud sync there are an abundance of alternatives. Without local sync there is no reason to use this product when I could be using an Open Source solution.
