Windows Mail in 8.1 was bad, this takes it to a new level. I am getting really frustrated with MS offerings and am ready to call it a day with this app. It is not very user friendly, can't switch between accounts very easily, hard to find anything even with the search feature, tons of error codes, even attempting to sync gives an error code; I could go on and on. I use mail because I want to keep my work account (I use outlook) on a different platform to my private accounts; I do not see this as a long term solution unless it receives some major upgrades and fix all the usability issues. Definitely not a winner. Microsoft, please fix this!!

I am surprised to report that I use the built-in Mail and Calendar app much more often that I use my subscription to Outlook. And it was MUCH easier to configure home access to my business MS Exchange email account. Just as easy as it is on iOS or Android.

All that I need from a mail app - displays mail from newest to oldest and allows searching local copies and files still on the server. Doesn't sort my mail or hide items that I haven't marked high priority. Calendar is adequate, automatically pulls events from multiple calendars. All devices (computers, phones) need to be set to sync immediately (every 15 minutes) to keep calendars in sync.

I haven't gone with all of my application, but these are this application that I couldn't find and / or launch normally: MSN Sport, MSN News, and Mail and calendar. Several of my app missing from start menu application list after windows 10 fall update (version 1709, build 16299.19).
January 20, 2018. The mail and calendar app and icons first disappeared after my last windows update and all of the app store wouldn't let me re-install it. If that doesn't work then go into Start - Settings - Accounts.. I followed all of the steps in that will to uninstall.
Click all of the app from all of the result. Open Store. Click all of the Install button if you want to reinstall all of the apps again. Go if you want to Start menu, open all of the Mail app, and complete all of the setup.. Jump if you want to How if you want to reinstall all of the Mail app with Windows 10 - How if you want to reinstall all of the Mail app with Windows 10. Do a search for “Mail and Calendar”.
But on Windows 7 they are not included. Although Windows 7 does have a . Windows Mail,the email client, and Windows Calendar are both part of Windows Vista.
