WinDbg Preview

The ability to set a bu breakpoint and then restart the execution is a critical feature which works on the existing windbg client. This was literally the first thing I tried and it doesn't work, so I am putting aside until this is addressed.

First time using WinDbg, and I was able to easily figure out how to load a memory dump file and identify the faulting driver causing a bluescreen error (BSOD). This is a great tool, and one I see myself using a lot in the future.

but not stable

Upon installing the WinDbg Preview, I am finding 6 entries in the programs list (start menu). All of them but one just launch the Microsoft Store app to the Downloads and Updates section.

Really hard debugging problems need windbg, that's just a fact of life. fortunately installing windbg no longer requires you to escape from a labyrinth of dead links, nonsensical redirects and sdk installers that don't actually install windbg if you're not careful. Good work whomever decided to package windbg into the store. You have make my life significantly better.
