TwitDuck

This app is really cool but I don't like how it takes awhile to sync the latest tweets and it freezes up!

Works just as great as TweetDeck -- but has scrollbars everywhere. Kind of ugly.

I love tweet tweetdeck and this is perfect for dealing with the slow down of the app in a browser. But it needs to open links and conversations with in the app container, instead of a browser

... but Twitter should really get on this themselves. (They publish an app on Mac that just wraps the tweetdeck.com site that's very similar to this.) Thanks for doing the work!

When I first started using it, it was working great. The more I use it the more it is starting lag really bad and it locks up more and more. Anything I can do about this?

Obviously, a Tweetdeck-emulating app can't go wrong in terms of UI. However, performance issues are fairly common. The two I observe the most are 1) lag in updating the screen as new tweets arrive, or 2) Frozen columns that never finish loading, and display no tweets. Likewise, the column scrollbars need better padding from the tweet content, as they often obscure text/images when the scrollbar is visible.
