Podcast Lounge

Doesn't have the ability to adjust playback speed (1.25x, 1.5x, 2x) like default player has, still a very good app.

Love the app. Has improved a lot and devs are very committed. Easily the star among all WP podcast apps.

This is really the best podcast app for Windows Phone. I used Doggcatcher on Android, and Podcast Lounge seems to be a good WP substitute. I don't find myself missing any features. I do wish WP didn't have such stringent file download size restrictions, though. Also, when Podcast Lounge updates, it often erases all downloaded episodes, which is annoying. It also sometimes erases all favorites when updating, but it has a convenient feature to back up the favorites list, so restoring it is not a big deal.

Works. It forgot my podcast subscriptions once, but easy to reinstall from OneDrive. Wish I could speed up play like on the iPhone (1.5x is best) - all I miss.

This is by far the best podcatcher on the Windows phone marketplace. Automatic downloads? Got it. Podcasts by URL? Got it. An awesome listing of shows already built it? Got it. But my favorite feature is the playlists. OMG. This is absolutely what sold it for me. I trap one button and get all the shows I've downloaded since yesterday? Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Thank you, Igneous, for an awesome app.

Controls work very well, but why doesn't it update the moth every time a new podcast comes out. Its like 2 weeks behind. 5 episodes available on the website but doesn't show on the podcast.

Still better than the WP 8.1 podcast app.

This is far and away the best interface for making my podcast feeds and episodes, but I simply cannot use it without variable store payback. Even the built-in podcasts app does that, and it doesn't matter how nice it is to download my casts if I can't control how I actually listen to them.
