GPS Calculator

This is not your average "you are here" program : it pulls far more useful information (ie terrain elevation according to SRTM, ASTER etc). What I missed was ability to load up your own esri shapefiles and see your location against these. A feature request?

This has exactly what I'm looking for, and much more. I wanted to export the map data, and that required a purchase of the pro version, but that's the only feature not in the free version, and so after taking it for a test drive and finding out more than adequate, it was an easy purchase. Seriously, this is an awesome app!

Overall, best GPS app I've seen in the store. The layout it's somewhat busy, which can lead to fat-fingering and occasional inadvertent choices. But all the info is there.
