Google News Viewer

I'm a news junkie, with apps from Fox, CNN and many other sources. Nice to have one for Google News as well. I do most of this stuff on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK tablet on Android, but it's nice to have similar capabilities on my Windows 10 laptop as well.

It's finally easier to go from the bottom of a page to the top in a simple click instead of the old fashion way.

Ads are everywhere. I am better served if I use Chrome.

I like that it functions like the app on my phone, but I would like to be able to choose my categories and news sources. otherwise a good app.

It doesn't offer me to log into my google account (may be a good thing) and doesn't offer enough news articles. Over all, the look and feel of this app doesn't satisfy me enough to keep it...

I can get news faster in other channels, e.g. USA today, while waiting the ads in Google news to finish.

The only problem that I have with this app is that you can't choose any or your own new sources or even link it to your Google news that you have set up through a web browser so you are more or less stuck to just reading what it pulls in from the topics that you can choose from.

for those who also use android phone it makes perfect sense since is the continuity of the phone app you watch the news on the phone and wen you get home you are able to follow the rest in your computer , please just get a dark theme
