Works well while open. Provides distance, score card, and overhead view of course. But when phone screen locks, you have to start all over. You have to select the course and hole and any scores are lost. I find this makes the app worthless.

Very useful to measure distance between your current location and were to are aiming to shoot your golf ball to. The go to my location button is a great feature that will take you to your current location so you can get an aerial view; you can than touch to where you want to shoot the ball to and get the distance.
