Dynamics AX 2012 Expenses

Screwed up workflows, poor usability. Dynamics team: it's EXPENSES, not rocket science. This has been done well by many other companies/applications - learn from them.

The app will NOT let me edit the "Category" of unreconciled expenses! So now I have to add my expenses manually anyways! Don't even get me started on the unintuitive UI! Total waste of time in using this app. It would have been easier writing a cover letter, adding the expenses as an Excel sheet and attaching receipts!

As if our expense tool wasn't frustrating enough, now we have an app that makes it twice as frustrating to use - enter msexpense 2.0 i suppose... the constructive feedback I have is that from start to finish the layout is too spread out and there are FAR too many steps and they are very counterintuitive. my goal is to get on the app, and with a few clicks get it all done. the touch interface may not be ideal for everyone. this is definitely harder to use unless i'm on a tablet - which i would use in emergency backup cases not primary filing.. anyway, i'm sure you will get a ton of feedback and make this better. for now, one star. this is impossible to use..

If this were a lesson in anger management, I would have to say I failed. It is frustrating, non-intuitive and an overall tax on my patience. I can only hope that this app is updated to a newer version that builds upon good design practice and reasonable, intuitive flow. Until then I'll take medication before I have to open and use this app...

This app looks like a Metro demo; pretty colorful tiles and terrible usability. It doesn't scale well to smaller window sizes and screens; it seems like the designers only ran it full-screen all the time. It feels like an app built by someone who has never actually used a modern phone or tablet app.

Used to work fine in Windows 8.1. Just reformatted my machine and installed Windows 10 Enterprise. Doesn't work. Error is: "This app can't open. Check the Windows Store for more info about Expenses." So I checked it, but it just says: "This product is installed". Completely unusable. :(

The error messages are not providing proper information. Please make it simple and easy to use.

This app & its internal web page equivalent takes a 30 minute process & turns it into hours. The disparity between this app & the online web page is appalling & the fact that every expense report usually requires back & forth between the two is disappointing. The app has to do "round trips" between every single action w/an individual expense, such as selecting "Billable" which then does a round trip to retrieve projects. There seems to be ZERO local caching that could improve this round trip experience.
