Duplicates Cleaner

It is one of the best. I had the Duplicate Cleaner for free, then went for the Prime Cleaner because it did a couple more things. I figured for a few bucks why not. Yes, it is great. One complaint though, I am having difficulty putting the shortcut on my desktop. I have the tile and have it in the tool bar but I want it as a short cut on my desktop. It's not a big deal but it would be nice if when you launched it would set up and put a desktop shortcut on like the other Cleaner does.

Lightweight and easy to use. Even finds duplicates with different filenames. However, I recommend you only use this with nonessential files as it can be easy to get a little crazy with your duplicate deleting frenzy.

My pictures and files ended up unorganized, duplicated, tripled or more through the years and I've finally started to sort them. I downloaded this app and almost 100 GB of space is free on my computer within minutes. To scan compressed files, the app needs to be purchased but the free version is awesome for a quick cleanup of a bunch of files, pics, vids and so on. LOVE this and will be buying the full version. I've found the tool immensely useful in tidying up my photo library. It does exactly what it advertises. However, it's missing a couple features and logic checks (e.g. name ending in " (1)" taking precedence over its shorter name version in regard to identifying the original file).

I'M SO UNORGANIZED, I HIDE THINGS FROM MYSELF ALL THE TIME, AND THEN END UP WITH 2 OR 3 OR THEM SCATTERED ABOUT. FINALLY A DUPLICATE FILE FINDER I CAN TRUST TO STAY OUT OF MY IMPORTANT SYSTEM FOLDERS. NICE JOB TO YOU ALL WHO HAD A HAND IN COMING UP WITH THIS ONE. CHEERS

easy to use. found all my dups without having to go through them all manually. a must have for anyone like me who's let pics and vids get out of control !!

This app did not have the option to compare two different folders. Duplicates aren't just only found by examining one folder at a time! Please fix it to compare Folder A to Folder B for duplicates.
