Awful Forums Reader

This app stole my wife, burned down my home and collected the insurance. I could forgive it that, but it wouldn't run on my android!

Crashes on start up now. Was great before that. 3/5.

I would kill for a number of unread posts marker on the thread titles in the bookmarks section. Like on the app for the other tablet OS <.<

Needs a few more features but provides the best forums reading experience on WP 8.1 right now.

I'd write this review in Japanese, but I don't know Japanese, so I'll stick to my native tongue. This app is pretty awful, which is code for really awful. Keep it up goon!

The Win8.1 version was fantastic, aside from a just slightly frequent enough to be annoying crash-to-desktop issue. The Win10 version is a goddamn dumpster fire. It's more stable, but is otherwise riddled with obnoxious bugs and borderline-insane UI decisions that make trying to use it (especially on a tablet) a baffling demoralizing ordeal. Is your screen in landscape mode? the bookmarks sidebar can not be closed and takes up half your screen real estate. Rotate the screen between portrait and landscape mode, the app doesn't resize properly and half the screen is just blank. click on a thread with new posts in it, it takes you straight to the top of the page instead of to the new posts. go back to your bookmarks list... whoops, now it WON'T SHOW YOU your bookmarks list, it will only take you to the last bookmarked thread you read instead. I could go on. Possibly there is a way to install the Win8 version on 10 but if I cant figure that out I'm just gonna roll the whole OS back to 8.1.
