Pearl Chess on FICS

Pearl Chess lets users connect to and play, watch games or chat on the Free Internet Chess Server, FICS, arguably the world’s oldest chess server descending from the original ICS Server of the early 90s.

No signup play is also available, in addition to FICS free lifetime account, with the Connect as Guest option. Both members and guests can examine finished games with Stockfish Chess Engine and an Opening Explorer.

Members can have rated play. When not playing, watch games, examine games, or do endgame or puzzle training. Also chat on server channels and shouts is available for members.
