Web site in an app - really? by Steve

You have got to be kidding me ... is this the best you can do? Why embarrass your company like this? This is not an "app", it's a wrapper around united.com, and is totally useless to me as a frequent flyer. People, don't waste your time!

    Disappointed. by W

We were on our flight and told to download the app in order to access movies and tv shows for free. We kept running around the app trying to figure out how to do so when we realized - the entertainment is not available on Windows 8. Disappointed

Should come with a disclaimer by Edwin

This is not the App. Won't connect to entertainment systems on the plane. Not as quick for tasks like checking in, etc.

    More embarassment by Mark

Large airline with large IT department. Still doesn't get it. I suppose they feel Windows 8 is not worth the investment to port the Android app over. This "app" is plain embarrassing.

    Unnecessary Access by Eric

We need it to access the "free" entertainment. The cost is access to pics, files, data, personal info, and other things United simply does not need nor can be trusted to have. Use some logic United. It's not hard.

    Terrible app by Mark

I've never been compelled to write a review of any app... until now. I can't believe United has pushed this out without seemingly tested it. I installed it with the hope of watching in flight movies. First thing I notice is screen layout is not correct and some text overlays others. I hover over the checkbox to remember my login, but no change in cursor until I randomly move the cursor in the vicinity of the text. Next thing I try to bring up the menu items associated with 'Travel information', but moving the cursor to one of the submenu items immediately hides the list. I tried for 30 minutes while in flight to figure out how to access the movies without success. To top everything off, after landing and getting an internet connection, I clicked on the link to the right to send Site Feedback, and got a browser error because of some unknown file type that was trying to be opened. I can only assume the product wasn't well tested on a Surface Pro3
