I Love Plex, but this is a let down. by Christopher

For the moment, use the web portal. This app is very poor currently, and consistently continues to crash if left in the background. It also has issues connecting, or just running in general.

We need a working app for Win 10! by Unknown

I am a big fan of Plex and a Plex Pass member but this app for Win 10 is absolute garbage. I've got all the OS updates but the back button doesn't always work, the app crashes intermittently and scrubbing forward and backwards doesn't always work either. It's great on other platforms-Android, iOS and OS X, however this Win 10 store only app is useless. Please work on this, Plex! It's adversely impacting your reputation.

Updated review from 4 to 5 stars. With the latest update adding the ability to filter libraries by synced content, this app has become the best multi media app on the market hands down. Everything works flawlessly streaming and couldn't be happier with the overall performance. For people complaining about the price, I challenge you to find a service that works as well as Plex does across a multitude of devices and configurations plus has an awesome online support community. For me, it's definitely worth every penny. The developers have regularly updated the WP app since release and each new version adds some great features. Can't wait to see what else is in store.

Crippled until you pay $5. by Daiichi

Since no one else is pointing this out in their reviews, here's the deal: This software is crippled in that you can only use it to browse media on your server and use it as a remote for other devices that have Plex on them. You can un-cripple it by paying $5 to have it unlocked, just like almost every other Plex app on just about every platform. I can understand how they can get away with doing that on platforms where there is no alternative, but on a PC you can simply open a browser and get full functionality for free. If you have a Plex Pass, the app is not crippled, but you should know that before you waste time downloading this. You get no features from this app that you don't get from the browser version, except maybe a shortcut icon you can move around, if you don't like making icons out of websites.
