IM+ Pro

I Loved this app, I used it everyday as I work from home and snapping made my life a lot easier. but unfortunately after today, the app no longer works, not online has restarting my PC not fixed the issue but neither has uninstalling and re-installing the app either. I used this app Everyday and had no issues until now. the app will no longer connect to any of my messengers (yahoo, Gmail, Skype) and upon closing the app it will no longer come back up unless you reinstall it. it only keeps closing itself. very unhappy customer and in need of a new IM. hope to see a fix soon

If you are looking for a PC solution to a multichat program, there are better applications out there. My big issues are the single window design, it is clunky and gets in the way. It sends a billion notifications to windows 10 even if you are focused on the window, really it should never be sending them there unless it isn't open (push notifications). If the window is open, a simple flash of the task bar icon would suffice. If it has the active focus it shouldn't be doing anything other than maybe sound. No group chat on hangouts (probably the most heavily used app). Seems to play nice with hangouts otherwise. It is getting better. The interface is clean for what it is. I think it would be great if you could pop out chat windows, or if they defaulted to something similar as FB Messenger bubbles.

I paid for Pro a long time ago just to find out it can't connect to Facebook. Months later... Still not supporting Facebook. Please update this App before you lose all your supporters. You got our money, now show us a working product!

I'd love to rate this higher but I cannot get it to work with facebook at all. I even manually went into facebook and gave the app permissions but it seems like the two just cant get it together enough to work. I am at a loss on how to fix it and clicking the link they give to provide the proper facebook access does nothing when clicked. :(

Overall I like and use this as my go-to chat app, however I see frequent crashes on Windows 10, and also find that it refuses to release my session after the app closes, even with the toggle, preventing me from logging into chat clients on other machines.

While this app used to be quite the buggy mess with crashes on all of my devices upon returning to the app after using another app, it's gotten much better in recent versions. It's totally stable in my experience, and as easy to use as always. The only reason I am knocking off a star is that Facebook chat doesn't want to work anymore. It used to work just fine, but now when I go to connect, it requests "extended permissions," and when I go to grant them, it takes me to the same login screen I was at previously, with no changes.

Update: Now this piece of garbage is on Red Stripe Deals? Isn't SHAPE.AG happy enough that they cheated current customers out of their money by selling broken software? They want to fool more people now? What a shame... Their app keeps asking for "extended permissions" for Facebook on all platforms I use (Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8.1 and Web) and I can't login. Tried removing them from my Facebook account but it doesn't work either. Support is non-existent. They did away with the users' forum at their website (perhaps to conceal the fact that they don't provide any support at all) and all Google results redirect to their new app's page, Sicher. I don't care for this new app. If they're discontinuing support for IM+ Pro, why do they still sell it? Refund people and give up on it. As it stands, this app is just a scam.

This app is a waste of money. It never behaves even though it's probably the most simple IM app ever. Sick of Windows Store apps altogether. What on earth could possibly be so difficult about sticking an IM client inside a modern app? SMH.
