Gmail Search For Cortana

Problems: Can't seem to access important mail, so I can't find anything I really need. When I tried the voice command with Cortana she just open a google page about gmail. None of the side bar worked, couldn't write for help, couldn't rate. Basically it just showed latest emails. I tried to use the app to open an email from the airlines. Tried a bunch of keywords and nothing happened except showing me the google page where I could read about gmail. Then I tried writing in search and nothing came up except the emails that came in in the last few hours. None of which I had any desire to look at. I need to be able to access saved emails. I tried just typing in saved emails and nothing happened. So, this is a great idea, but does not work at all with my Surface Pro 4, maybe it works with something else. I'm going to delete the app, it's just way easier to go to any browser and put in gmail.
