No, this is not the original Family Tree Maker, and I could not find a way to import existing records.

The UI is very cumbersome and not intuitive. Definitely not the real family tree maker. I was not able to upload the gedcom file for my family tree because there are to many people in it.

Will not open existing (original) Family Tree Maker files. Misrepresented in product description. May be OK when starting out new.

Definitely not the original FTM program. Not user friendly.

This is the software program b Ancestry.com. Not good at all. Has old data in it. Didn't work.

Nothing works right, you can only get three lines in the info box, press save you can't rely on info being saved, not the family tree maker I have used in the past. Don't blame my computer it is only a few months old
