    Disappointing by Glenda

I have been using Pigment on the iPad for over a year, and been looking for something similar since I switched to a Windows touch device. So many of these so-called coloring apps only allow you to tap and fill, or maybe freehand on top of the lines, without any finesse, so when I read that this app was like using pencils on your PC, I was ecstatic! Unfortunately, the size controls of the pencil tool are very limited, and there is no way to adjust opacity, so it ultimately turns out that the coloring isn't quite as "real" as it could be. Add to that that the free book it comes with contains less than 10 images, all off them amateurish at best, and the purchasable books are expensive for what they are ($1.99 for 10 or less images, most of them ugly, generic, or both)... This app simply does not deliver. I gave the app two stars rather than one because it comes with a decent selection of colors, and I think that with some updates the app could become better.

Great app for drawing by Daniel

If you need an app for drawing, Colorist is the right app for you! Colorist works great on Surface devices by enabling the power of the pen!

    FINALLY!! by Keira

Finally found a coloring app that gives me what i want! I actually get to color instead of just pasting colors into spaces. Great app!

Excellent! Enjoyable, Fun, Creative! by Elizabeth

Colorist is an opportunity for some peaceful activity, or decompressing time. I love this app and the people behind the scenes are awesome. I have a few of these different kinds of arts and crafts coloring activities, but colorist is different from all of those. Colorist allows for more of an individual look while letting you share your experience with others. I highly recommend it!

Colors very nicely, but no support for tilting pens by Clive

On my MS Surface Pro "5" and with a Surface Pen "5" (you know, the ones that came after 2, 3, and 4, but were not named 5), Windows Sketchpad (accessed from the right hand side of the Taskbar) implements pencils with both pressure sensitivity and tilt sensitivity. When I color with real pencils on real paper in real life I tilt my pencils. Windows Sketchpad allows me to do this. Colorist does not allow me to do this.

Works amazingly well. Wish there was a bigger selection by Rebecca

I love the functionality of the app. It works and looks about as much like real colored pencils as you could hope for. The only down side is that the selection of coloring books is small & you can't import documents from outside the program (probably a copyright issue). Still, it was well worth the money and I'm quite happy with it.
