Chronicle - Bill Reminders

This app has not been updated in a very long time. The Windows version is not even mentioned on the developer's website which is totally directed to the Apple version. As the final proof of "We don't care about this app anymore", the Contact Support link in the app does not do anything. The developer appears to have abandoned this trial balloon. This is a shame because the Apple version is outstanding. I imagine coding for a different OS involves considerable work but they already have an outstanding version to simply copy over. As it stands, the app has limited recurrence frequencies and no method for backing up or syncing data. And, with the apparent abandonment, how can you trust that any data you add will be available in the future as the OS changes but the app does not? This is all very disappointing but fully consistent with the generally abysmal quality of apps in the Windows Store.

Bare bones UI. No sync option even though I bought the Mac and iOS version. Awesome on Mac. typical no effort version for windows users. Highly recommend if you have a Mac. The windows version is pretty terrible. the low ratings come from people who have seen the mac / ios version and this one is literally just a list of bills. save $3 and just list them directly on your calendar or on a sticky note. this is So bad compared to the mac version: no calendar sync, no cloud sync, no income / outgoing section, its just a list of bills with icons on a white square. lowered my score to 2 stars after purchasing the windows version to see if it added anything beyond more than 3 bills limit. it did not. nearly useless as is.

seriously I get selling apps but this is why people avoid buying things because of companies like this that sell garbage, I seriously uploaded all my bills got everything up and running and as I was about to leave an awesome review the app stops working literally will not load or open now it's GARBAGE HOT GARBAGE at that save you money download a free app instead because THEY WORK!

App is great for basic reminders. But you can't look back and see history of what you paid. And you can't just have a bill repeat for a few months, there isn't an option for number of months to repeat.
