8 Zip Lite - unpack RAR, ZIP, 7z for free

The program said that it is free in the store... Well I guess it is free, until you click the expand button... Then it tells you that you need to pay close to $8 if you want to actually have this thing do what you downloaded it for. Yeah Windows Store apps!

This app will open an archive, but not extract it. I would not mind if it did not create an archive, but to no extract means this is not "lite" but useless. Not worth the cost of the download.

***HORRIBLE APP!!! NEVER EVER DOWNLOAD IT *** What's the use of this app, if you can't even extract a single file?!!! You need to buy Pro version to unzip files, so what's the point in letting users download this app for free? It would've made sense, if they made the built-in play option exclusively to Pro version. Trust ME, it's a total waste of time!

Says Unpack 7z for free, but it is only available in pro. So you got me, but now I'll avoid this company.

Lets you download and install but wants to charge to $8 before you can actually unzip or zip anything. Completely dishonest. Should charge upfront and the Windows Store should not allow this practice.

The best app for zip extractor

Do not install this as there is no clear and easy way to remove it if you do not wish to keep it. That fact alone kills any good reason you would want to install this. Do not use any program that does not allow its removal. That tells me the program is doing more then what it is meant to be doing. Yep call me untrusting but that is how I feel about any program that does not allow me easy access to remove it from my system.
